Stress Less
All of us experience stress in our day to day lives. Modern life is highly stressful, with many demands and not enough time to carry them out. We all seem to know what another person means when they talk about being stressed. But what is stress? And what is the best way to manage it?
Our 8 week Stress Less program will teach you all about stress and anxiety. You will learn simple and effective techniques to cope with stress when it is triggered. You will also learn specific strategies to reduce the chances of becoming overly stressed.
Our program is evidence based, which means that the techniques you will learn have been shown in scientific research to be very effective in reducing stress. The program focuses on helping you learn to treat yourself well, so that the chances of becoming overly stressed are minimised.
Group sessions will be held once a week. We are planning to start running this group during October 2008. Numbers are limited so please be quick to register. Medicare rebates are applicable.
